Meandering back to DA for a bit

I occasionally go on art binges when I really feel the need to look at a lot of beautiful pictures. What kind of art I go after tends to be of whatever fandom I'm currently dwelling in, whether that's pictures of cute pastel ponies from FIM or kickass robots from Transformers. I suspect that my favorites folders are in a bit of disarray!

I haven't uploaded anything in forever, have I? My scrapbooking is way behind and I haven't been taking pictures of the pages... that's kinda meta, though, pictures of scrapbooks made of pictures? Far out, right? haha 

I've been practicing my aquascaping but as it turns out, creating art out of living creatures when the idea is to have them go on happily living is kind of hard. Especially when black brush algae invites itself to the party. Ugh. And both my tanks host plant-eating monsters (oops!) so I won't be entering any contests with my skills, that's for sure. Mostly I post bad cellphone shots of the tanks to Facebook, though. 

I recently watched a documentary about underground artists keeping traditional beauty alive in the howling wasteland that is the hideousness of "modern" "art" (aka, stuff that looks like trash and yet somehow makes it into museums anyway) so of course I thought about dA. <3 Keep on drawing beautiful things, oh artists with way more talent than me!
